body - bronze

Bronze is heavy and long-lasting. It is often used for monuments of heroes or idealized figures. By using bronze for larger bodies, I question who is seen as worthy of being remembered.

Here, the body becomes a monument simply because it exists. It carries a life, emotions, and history. The softness of the form contrasts with the strength of the material. This creates a powerful balance between vulnerability and endurance. The sculpture says: every body deserves space, respect, and permanence.
